Cheapest And Fastest Way From IGI Airport to ISBT Delhi

Being a frequent traveler, I always came around tourist facing problem while commuting, Due to this situation, they end up paying more money or have to face certain challenges before reaching their destination.

In this particular blog, I will only talk about ways to commute from Delhi Airport to Bus Terminal. 

If  you're travelling first time to India and your first stop is Indira Gandhi International Airport and you want to commute to your hotel or ISBT  Kashmere Gate(Inter State Bus Terminal) or New Delhi Railway Station. Following are the cheapest and best ways to commute:-

Towards ISBT Kashmere Gate:-
NOTE - Don't prefer the taxi counters outside Airport. They charge you double the money from normal cost. 

1) Cab Services - UBER GO and OLA (Micro - the smallest car in terms of size and cheap in terms of money)

Luggage Range - 2 Large size Bag-packs

Cost - Rs 20 Km in peak time (Current rate is shown in app or you'll get an estimate for your travel fair)

Average Cost - Rs 700 for ISBT i.e. equivalent to 12$ || 10£ 

Time to Travel - Min 30 minutes ( Max - Depends on Traffic and travel timing and average - 1 hour)

2) Metro - Just Opposite to Terminal 3, Government of India provides Metro services till New Delhi Railway station
Luggage Range - Any

Cost - Rs 150 i.e. equivalent to 3$ || 2£

Time To Travel - 28 minutes

From New Delhi Railway Metro Station you can board normal metro services which have multiple routes. For ISBT, you need to board YELLOW LINE towards JAHANGIRPURI and deboard at KASHMERE GATE
Cost - Rs 20 i.e. equivalent to less than 1$ || 1£

OR

You can book a cab towards ISBT using OLA or UBER
Cost - Rs 200 Maximum i.e. equivalent to 3.5$ ||  2.9£

NOTE - If you are going to use Metro frequently than don't buy tickets. Go for metro cardCard Cost is Rs 200 and you'll get Rs 150 balance in it. When you refund the card you get Rs 30 plus the amount left in your card

3) You can use  DTC (Delhi Transport Corporation) bus services to Kashmere Gate 

Luggage Range - Any (Chargeable as per seat you occupied by your luggage. If you place them in center where people usually stands than you might not be asked extra charges)

Cost - Rs 75 per seat  i.e. equivalent to 1.2$ || 1£

Time To Travel - 45 minutes (Average Duration, Rest depends on traffic)
